    Time Event
    4:38p
    In all seriousness...
The technical term is "external cephalic version". In point of fact, it refers to the practice (performed since the time of Aristotle) of attempting to turn an unborn baby so that the head is properly oriented toward the birth canal. Since the critter (whom we have been referring to as SquirmyWorm) has been breech since the 28th week of pregnancy, this was to be the last attempt to attempt to right the child.
    It failed.
Modern medical practice does not typically chance delivering breech babies naturally. Instead, a c-section is performed. I was surprised to find that 1 in 4 deliveries are currently done via c-section. So the procedure is scheduled for two weeks from now, barring anything unfortunate.
    That is all.
