    Time Event
    10:32a
    Really frustrating
Others on my friends list have commented on similar things, but I have to remark that it is a sad state of affairs when even I find 'Physics Today' incomprehensible/boring/mindless.

Let me point out a few things. One of which is that this is the magazine you get when you are a member of the American Physical Society. Which should tell you something about the intended audience: most of us will have at least one degree in the physical sciences. However, I well know that one has to keep things somewhat general for those who aren't in specific fields. But the utter BLATHER that is in this month's issue about the 'hydrogen economy' is maddening to say the least, and criminal to indulge in hyperbole. One wants to find the authors and shake them a bit, since the articles have really no clear objective, and drift over different sections of content like half crazed cows. I hope I don't sound that way when I attempt to explain things to people.
