Get the tables!
Spent around two very chilly hours in the garage yesterday working on the glass table. The final result was not smooth, or rounded, but at least it was no longer sharp. If that's the worst result that comes from this adventure, we'll call it a success. I found that the Dremel bits will indeed fit my Black and Decker dremel ripoff, and that I love the glow of glass under medium speed grinding. As always, safety first, I must have looked like a man from Mars, kitted out in shatterproof goggles, particulate matter filter and leather work gloves. Still, at least it is no longer dangerous, or at least not AS dangerous.
In other news, my beer appears to be beering well. An update in technology brought me a 'hop bag', the simple way to make sure you remove most of the hop leaves, you put the hops in a bag (cheesecloth), and then toss the bag into the boiling wort, rather than just adding the hops directly and attempting to strain later. I've been seeing a little layer of unstrained hops at the bottom of the bottles, hopefully this will cut down on it a bit.
Work notes...hopefully this week we get the updated note and PRL draft out. I note that I've been visited by the PC, and one of the spokes to push on putting more data into the analysis. Ironic, considering the chance that I may not be paid for December, and they want me to start into new stuff. Wunderbar. Pardon my lack of accent.
