My world is slightly tilted.
This, dear friends, is yet another collaboration week. That means those lovely people who take up so much bloody space on the author list will descend to attempt to find out exactly how soon their names will appear on another publication. For me, this really just means that it is harder to find a parking space.
Finally heard back from my boss yesterday. Mostly this went in the following way:
Table X needs another column.
Figure Y is too crowded.
Why didn't you do test Z? I mean geez, are you a graduate student or something?
Therefore, it was basically an occasion to yell very loudly (frightening the cat) and get screaming drunk. Or something. At the same time, one rather snappish reply provoked a mention of a defense date, so maybe I should just snap at him more often. Stay tuned true believers. I may graduate some day.
