Once more...with feeling...
Item the First: People are reacting well to the conclusions in the thesis here. That's commonly a good thing. I'm on the hook for a major presentation of this stuff in a couple of weeks. That's not necessarily good, considering the fact that the other channel is still struggling where I have succeeded.

Iten the Second: I have been ordered to apply for another post-doc. The ad for this one is very nebulous, so there will have to be some changes to the research interest statement, as well as the cover letter (groan). It seems like a good job at a very prestigious university, I just don't think there's a snowball's chance in hell that I'll get it.

Item the Third: I need more beer bottles. I wish to create another batch of beer. Unfortunately, what holds me back from this is that I am missing a couple of ingredients (though the supply store is a mere 10 minutes away), and that I have no where to PUT finished beer, since most of my bottles are currently occupied by the first batch. Hm. They do sell a 'party keg' set that holds 2 gallons...maybe I should be keeping track of volume, even though under federal law I can brew up to 100 gallons a year. Then again, Angela says I can have her 100 gallons too so maybe it just doesn't matter.
