F34R the B33R
On Sunday I bottled the first stuff out of Dr. Beer.
Let me just say that this first beer is dark. Passing right through the happier shades of red and amber by such friends as Bass and Killians. Heading straight past the heavier darks and landing smack in the middle of "Oh my god is that dark, or is it merely consuming all light around it?". The smell however, brings to mind ales, such as bass, with a sweet, nutty, coffee-like overtone. Who knows exactly what this will taste like when fully carbonated. It is however opaque. I even filled up the Famous Kyle Stevenson's 40 oz. bottle, and boy does it look evil.
In other news, the day off was spent partly in the Danger Room, and partly painting new minatures for DND. Shameless geekery, with an artistic bent. Charred animal flesh was consumed as well.
