Closed / Moved...mostly.

Okay, first let me say that we successfully closed on the new condo. My parents were even up here, and got a tour of our completely empty new digs.
Saturday was the marathon of moving mayhem. EVERYONE who had said they would help showed up and pitched in, even theDan who had to leave in the middle to go on access, went and came back for the truck moving. This is also the first time I've ever driven a UHaul before, and I would just like to say, I wish to stick with MY little car, thank you. All my helpers did an outstanding job, especially in the light of the endurance challenge that was this move: People had shown up at around 0930, and the lion's share of the stuff had been moved by 2000. I took everyone out to SmokeyBones to celebrate, and we totally laid waste to approximately three whole cows worth of meat.
There still remains some junk at the old place, notably our trash cans, but we have today and tomorrow to clean a bit and rescue our remaining stuff. Still, the new place is up and mainly running, no internet yet, but power, gas, water, and as of this morning even telephone were operational (and the previous owner left cable hooked up, probably for the rest of the month. Score).
